According to NITE, accidents included furniture falling on top of children trying to climb up on chairs, tables or cabinets. TOKYO —The National Institute Of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) says that at least 60 accidents at home involving babies and young children, were reported nationwide between 2010 and 2015. Other incidents included children scalding themselves with steam from household appliances, such as kettles, and being burned by pulling on defective electrical cords and wires. NITE concluded that 1-year-olds are most likely to be involved in such accidents inside homes, and warned parents not to let young children touch electrical appliances or play on furniture unsupervised. Two accidents resulted in death, and 12 in severe injuries.

At approximately 6:51 p.m., while Officer Luna was working the second accident, a third accident occurred in the Southbound lane, North of exit 88. At approximately 6:04 p.m., while helping with traffic, Officer David Luna was dispatched to a second accident which occurred in the Southbound lane around exit 88. There were no injuries reported in this accident. On Thursday February 23, 2017 at approximately 5:38 p.m., officers with the Ellisville Police Department were assisting The Mississippi Highway Patrol with traffic on I-59, while they were working a traffic accident with injuries, which had occurred in the Southbound lane, north of exit 85. When Corporal Holston arrived, he could see that one of the drivers was entrapped in his vehicle, and three more vehicles were involved in the collision.
Two lanes are closed after the two vehicle accident on the M6 Northbound at J16 A500 (Crewe / Stoke-On-Trent). A spokesman for Traffic England said: "Lane three (of three) is closed on the M6 Northbound at J16 due to a two vehicle collision. The accident is just after the A500 turn off at Junction 16. Accident is just after A500 turn off at junction16. There was a short rolling road block in place to cone off lanes one and two which was released at 18.20.
