Four people died in a tripper accident where as one person lost his life in a jeep accident. Prem Bahadur Gaha and his son Bhuwan Gaha are receiving treatment at Mission Hospital, Tansen. According to the District Police Office the deceased are identified as the tripper driver Puran Bahadur Saru, 27, of Tinau-6, his wife Balkumari Saru, their son Hemesh Saru, 5 and another person Prem Bahadur Gaha, 22. Likewise, the Tansen bound jeep, Lu 1 Ja 1581, met with an accident at early hour on Sunday at Ribdikot Rural Municipality-7, Palungmainadi.

In the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, four people were killed in separate rain-caused accidents, the provincial disaster management authority said. Geo TV reported that the country's east Punjab province was the worst hit where torrential rains claimed seven lives. In a separate incident in Sheikhupura district, a power transmission cable fell on an under-construction house, injuring six laborers working inside. Pakistan Meteorological Department said that rains and dust storms, associated with gusty winds and hailstorms, are likely to hit scattered places in both the provinces over the next 24 hours.
