According to the global health body, measures to address speed prevents road traffic deaths and injuries, make populations healthier, and cities more sustainable. WHO Director-General Dr Margaret Chan said "speed is at the core of the global road traffic injury problem.

Four killed, nine injured in road accidents – Daily Pakistan

KARACHI – At least four people were killed while nine others were left injured in separate traffic accidents in Karachi late Friday, according to rescue members. The first incident occurred in Liaquatabad when a van collided with an auto rickshaw leaving nine people, including women, injured. Another two people were killed in road mishap taking the overall toll to four. The bodies were shifted to hospital for further formalities. In another incident, a car rammed into a motorcycle near Sabzi Mandi on Main Super Highway.
